2023.06.10 17:20 Extension_Plenty5718 [SOURCE] False jerky inputs (camera twitches) in TF2

setup: 1050ti 2GB (driver 470); i3 7100, debian 11 xfce.
It happens maybe once a match or once a round. My aim may instantly twitch to random direction as if I lock aimbot on something. Demonstration: https://imgur.com/a/Cv2F49N (Those are consecutive, uninterrupted sequences of frames as recorded with OBS in 60FPS).
This issue isn't present in CS:GO, Garry's mod, or FarCry3(proton) (nothing else was tested). Lowering graphics quality doesn't appear to solve the issue. This issue disappears (or becomes unnoticeable) when multicore rendereing is disabled in TF2 settings, but the FPS is lower this way, as I'd expect.
Nothing is logged to journalctl when this happens. In-game console's sometimes spammed with "SteamNetworkingSockets lock held for X ms" performance warnings, but I think it's unrelated.
Thanks in advance for tips and suggestions on how to solve this issue.

2023.06.10 17:16 Null-Void909 I just want to address some issues with the fandom to you guys.

Ben 10 came at a time before everyone had the internet, when most of the fandom was kids & teenagers. A lot of us grew up with the fandom & so I get really excited when I see younger kids who’re big on the show, which means the fandom isn’t dead yet. However, this fandom has become intolerant to those who disagree with popular points. This is abundantly clear when you look at the treatment of Omniverse and the Reboot in more recent times. Before proceeding I wish to say that this is being said with the utmost respect. The death of Derrick J. Wyatt in particular has caused a shift in the fandom that can only be described as apologetic.
Despite being around since 2005, we only have a fanbase on Reddit of 70K in 11 years as opposed to Steven Universe or The Owl House which got over 100K in a year. Truthfully, this fandom is built on the late Millennials and early-mid Gen Z so it should have a massive social media influence. If Cartoon Network's toy sales were anything to go by, then this fandom should be much larger in general. In today's landscape, we see a massive boom in older programs like Clone High and others from relatability or nostalgia without renewed products. Why doesn’t Ben 10 have that same sort of buzz going around in the fandom?
Either the reboot burnt out the fandom or something else is going on. The reboot destroying the fandom doesn’t make sense as many people who watched the older programs had moved on. The answer has to be that the fandom itself has inhibited its own growth. People are hungry for content and fiercely defensive over what already exists despite obvious quality issues.

2023.06.10 17:06 encantrizfalida Ive been thinking of getting a PS4 bundle but I dont know which is best

So I already bought the physical copy of DOOM Eternal bc it was on promotion and I like the games, and lately the price has been decaying for a bit so i think by the end of the year im finally gonna be able to buy it. So theres 2 bundles, both are the PS4 slim version with 1tb and have somewhat the same price; one comes with horizon, god of war and the last of us... the other comes with gta, death stranding and the last of us + 3 months of playstation plus. Which one is better to go with? They have somewhat the same price. I wanted a ps4 to play the last of us, uncharted, doom, mass effect, resident evil, rdr, etc, so i dont really know if death stranding, god of war and horizon are good games or something that i would enjoy playing.

2023.06.10 17:03 sunshineblues0 Return to work anxiety/panic attacks

First time poster. Apologies if I am doing this wrong.
I am 2 months postpartum and will be going back to work soon. I woke up this morning after very little sleep having a panic attack, thinking about returning. The reason for my anxiety is because my job after 3 years of WFH is now requiring everyone to return 3 days a week to the office. I understand some people may be able to adjust to the idea but I cannot come to terms with having to leave my baby for 10+ hours 3 days a week for no reason. I was hired by my job in March of 2020. I worked in the office 5 days, 10 +hours for 2 weeks before going remote due to COVID. Work from home has been amazing and we had better quality work performance across the board. Now our CEO is insisting we return. I have spoken to my manager and asked if I can fill out a WFH request form. He checked with HR and came back saying they are not accepting those forms right now. I applaud the parents who can and want to go back into the office but that is not for me. I really don't want to quit due to financial and benefit reasons. I need advice. I have a general practitioner doctor's appointment in 2 weeks. Can I ask him to write a letter saying my anxiety is to bad to return to the office? Or my therapist write something? I am in TN and I read anxiety is a disability. I just want to stay working remote and take care of my family in the best way possible for my mental health. Also day care is not an option for me. I am open to suggestions, legal advice, information on policies, anything to help!

2023.06.10 17:02 TheADHDad A DEFECT IN NEUROLOGY, NOT A DEFECT OF HUMANITY ADHD: A National Crisis

A DEFECT IN NEUROLOGY, NOT A DEFECT OF HUMANITY ADHD: A National Crisis
2023
To Larrakia Country I write to you from the lands and home of Larrakia, in the Northern Territory, which I am grateful to call my home too. Their elders, leaders and children are the owners and protectors of this land and its stories and songs. I am grateful for their hospitality and grace, considering the intolerance and violence that they continue to endure. I dedicate my work and myself to support their stewardship, in whatever role I am asked.
To my sons You are incredible people already. This is one of the biggest things I think I will ever do to make the world you are growing up in a better place than the one I was born into. We have already endured so much together, yet you go from strength to strength. The Blue Witch’s days are numbered.
To E, A, J, M, Ki, N, P, B, Ke, and all the Spirited Children Some might think I paint a bleak picture in this document. You all know this isn’t even the half of it. You deserve the life you want to lead, anything less is a failure, and should be unacceptable to all.
To Dad, Star, Cat, Moh. It is a comfort to know you are somewhere better, when we are left here.
A DEFECT IN NEUROLOGY, NOT A DEFECT IN HUMANITY ADHD: A National Crisis
Abstract ADHD is the biggest and easiest dealt with human challenge of our time. It is a debilitating impairment, that is lifelong and brings no inherent benefits or superpowers. It has likely been a part of hominid neurology for 300,000 years, and in that time it has been systematically rejected by genetic evolution as an enormous set of risks to the survival of the human race. It brings earlier death, more disease, isolation, hopelessness. Making the people who live with it even more remarkable. I have seen neglect, abuse, cruelty and ignorance that would make Dickens blanch. ADHD is routinely rejected, shunned and left in-addressed by Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Nurses, Teachers, Judges, Police, leaving families in ruins, good and vibrant people be turned to husks, and children as young as 7 turn to suicide.
Not understanding it, not treating it costs our economy $20.5baud a year, if not more.
The need for a national effort to tackle the challenges is paramount to the future success of all Australians.
Self and Evidenced Truths.
  1. People with ADHD deserve recognition as living beings with rights, dignity, and aspirations despite our impairments.
  2. Fundamental to those rights, dignity and aspirations being observed we deserve guaranteed access to our medications, support, workplace arrangements and other accommodations across our lifespan.
  3. ADHD is a current and emerging Australian national crisis that demands immediate response in kind.
  4. ADHD is a chronic neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorder that impairs many aspects of living, at all points of the lifespan (Faraone et al., 2015).
  5. People diagnosed with ADHD face higher risks of other neurodevelopmental disorders, of suffering child abuse, experience school exclusions and engagement, discrimination, financial predation, other mental health problems, physical disorders, substance use, accidental injuries, chronic health problems and premature death, including suicide attempts and completions. Children are twice as likely to die by age 10, adults are 5 times more likely to be dead by age 25 (Barkley et al., 2022).
  6. Stimulant medications should be used as soon as possible and practicable following a diagnosis. Several Stimulant medications are safe and effective for treating ADHD and for preventing many adverse outcomes. Non-Stimulant and Non-medication treatments are less effective. (Storebø et al., 2015).
  7. ADHD costs Australia $20.4 billion per year in lost productivity, wellbeing, and public services (Deloitte Access Economics, 2019).
  8. There is a need for more awareness, education, and training explaining what ADHD is, as many people with ADHD remain undiagnosed and untreated due to ignorance, bias, or incompetence (Faraone et al., 2019).
  9. Australia’s attitude towards ADHD costly, uncoordinated, and unfair. This harms people with ADHD in multiple ways, such as limiting their ability to manage their symptoms, increasing their financial burden, and reducing their social support (Australian Clinical Practice Guidelines for ADHD Working Group, 2022).
As a Matter of Urgency
  1. The Commonwealth Government must fund a co-designed national awareness campaign for ADHD, highlighting its medical nature, the importance of early and persistent intervention and its impacts across the lifespan, and all aspects of modern life as a matter of priority. a. With particular focus on key peak bodies; Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency and its members, the Australian Council of Unions and its Members, Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority Curriculum, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Australian Finance Industry Association, Law Council of Australia, Police Federation of Australia, Universities Australia, and Australian Council for Private Education and Training.
  2. The Commonwealth Government must expand the professions that can screen, assess and diagnose ADHD to include Teachers, General Practitioners, Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Midwives and Remote Area Nurses, as well as expand telehealth options for remote areas.
  3. The Commonwealth Government must establish a national framework for ADHD assessment and support that clarifies roles and responsibilities of different agencies and ensures seamless transitions across life stages and reduce costs for government.
  4. The Commonwealth Government should mandate that bachelors, postgraduate degrees, and Community Service certificates and diplomas in health sciences, enrolled and registered nursing, education, community health, criminal and industrial law and allied health fields include compulsory modules in ADHD, co-designed with people with ADHD.
  5. The Commonwealth Government must delist methylphenidate, amphetamines, and their various formulations as Schedule 8 drugs and relist them as Schedule 4, they must also expand Medicare and PBS coverage for ADHD medication to include all people with a diagnosis of ADHD. This would reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with ADHD medication use as well as simplify the prescription and dispensing process for people with ADHD and their prescribers.
  6. The Commonwealth Government must fund presentation sensitive research on ADHD and its comorbidities, as well as presentation responsive training for anyone who cares for, educates, works with, or employs people with ADHD.
  7. The Commonwealth Government must direct new training and mentoring programs for practitioners, staff and community and health service delivery areas, focusing on Peri-Natal Services, Daycare and Primary School staff. Rationales Personal Experience My personal experience is as a father of a child with ADHD and as a sufferer of undiagnosed ADHD myself. My professional experience with government, hospitals, mental health, drug and alcohol case management, and the elderly, has led me to being an Advocate.
I suffered countless unnecessary medical, emotional, economic hardships and injustices throughout my life because of my undiagnosed ADHD. As a child I experienced routine ridicule, shame, and punishments. I was regularly abused and excluded by teachers, both immediate and extended family, peers, and random members of the public, verbally and physically. For symptoms, colloquially and incorrectly referred to as behaviours, of my Combined Presentation of ADHD. Combined Presentation of ADHD means that I have both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms. Symptoms are the observable signs of ADHD, such as difficulty paying attention, being easily distracted, fidgeting, talking excessively, not saying much, daydreaming, working memory issues, etc. Symptoms that informed my personality and identity, that I was targeted for, abused for.
As I grew up, contrary to popular belief that ADHD symptoms get better as people age, the effects of my undiagnosed ADHD quickly got worse. The lack of access to university due to needing to work to support myself and look after my ailing father put me in unskilled retail positions, which became administrative positions before accidentally falling into Community Services. Through those careers, the constant workplace bullying and harassment prior to my diagnosis, needing to leave positions that were constantly either short contract or put up for recruitment where my skills, knowledge and wisdom meant nothing has left me with a colourful and varied career. The experience is nice but puts me at a significant disadvantage as I get older. My undiagnosed ADHD made it possible for me to perform well in different jobs. But as I juggled time management, organisation, communication, and self-regulation I would be burnt out as I self-medicated with work, and I would become expendable. Less time in positions, less experience, less expertise, less money, less able to provide for my family, less able to take part in society.
Despite my experience with health systems and supporting disabilities, my son who is 5, is facing similar barriers already and he is aware of himself. Being unable to access practical support for his disability, medication has been rationed as though we should be grateful to be receiving any assistance at all. We are 6 months post the last review, and the practitioner we saw last, hopefully mistakenly, provided us with incorrect information. Both his school and education department in the Northern Territory refused to allow therapists into the school to do observations without onerous and impractical limitations, not least of which was opposing observations in classes which effectively means no inclusive practices. It has come to the point where, to conserve his and my own mental well-being we will have to close his plan out. This shows how the education system continues to fail to accommodate the needs of children with ADHD and violates their right to inclusive education, and not much has changed in 30 years.
The emotional and physical toll of everyday life with ADHD and past traumas makes life an ongoing struggle. My Combined Presentation ADHD, physically, is managed, but even that is tenuous. My health is up in the air, as getting regular reviews with a psychiatrist is impossible, despite the medication I am on being perfectly safe and the prognosis of my condition is unremarkable while on medication. Regular reviews with a psychiatrist are essential for monitoring my medication dosage, side effects, and effectiveness, as well as for addressing any other mental health issues that I endure. You’ll need to start another Inquiry before I talk about those though.
ADHD has meant more serious consequences, and harder to rectify situations: homelessness joblessness, discrimination, isolation. I am still standing but am never safe from them. These are some of the ways that ADHD, diagnosed and undiagnosed, has impacted my life. Due to the lack of recognition, respect, dignity that I deserve as a person, disability or not. I received my Diagnosis less than 3 years ago and already I have experienced the best stability and success I have ever had. In this 3 years I have been homeless, unemployed, suffering severe trauma and depression. All dealt with alone.
My NDIS application is now 18 months into its appeal. I wonder if it will survive longer than the AAT?
ADHD assessments and diagnosis: Children and adults with ADHD often face various gaps and barriers in accessing appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for their condition. These include lack of awareness and recognition of ADHD among health professionals and the public; stigma and discrimination associated with ADHD; variability in diagnostic practices and criteria; limited availability and accessibility of specialist services; high out-of-pocket costs for diagnosis and treatment; lack of coordination and integration of care across different sectors; insufficient monitoring and evaluation of treatment outcomes; and lack of evidence-based guidelines and quality standards for ADHD care. These gaps and barriers contribute to the underdiagnoses and under treatment of ADHD in Australia and limit the potential benefits of early intervention and quality care.
ADHD management: Qualified and experienced practitioners who can assess and diagnose ADHD in children and adults are in short supply, especially in rural and remote areas. This leads to long waiting times, inflated costs, and inconsistent quality of assessments, and cascading health outcomes. People with the Inattentive presentation of ADHD, which is predominantly girls and women, face significant gender bias in ADHD assessments, support services and research. This leads to under recognition, misdiagnosis and inadequate treatment and supports of both inattentive presentation ADHD and female-specific issues related to ADHD. Different sectors and levels of government fail to coordinate and integrate their support services for people with ADHD. This creates gaps, overlaps and confusion in accessing education, health, disability, and social services. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) staff, and feeder service staff incorrectly prevent and discourage people with ADHD as a primary disability from making access requests. This flows to review mechanisms, including the Australian Administrative Tribunal. This excludes and isolates many people with ADHD from accessing not just NDIS support, but any support at all. Many people with ADHD cannot afford or access ADHD medication, especially those who are not eligible for Medicare or PBS subsidies. This limits their treatment options and affects their quality of life.
The impact of ADHD on individuals, families, and society: Children and adults with ADHD have a significantly reduced life expectancy and are more likely to die prematurely from various causes, such as accidents, suicide, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and substance abuse. The reduction in life expectancy ranges from 9 to 13 years for people with ADHD compared to those without ADHD. The risk of premature death is higher for those with more severe ADHD symptoms, comorbid disorders, and untreated ADHD. In Australia, this means that (statistically) about 1,900 deaths per year would be attributable to ADHD, but further study would be necessary to investigate. Children and adults with ADHD are more likely to suffer from various chronic physical and mental health conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, allergies, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and antisocial behavior. These conditions can impair the quality of life and functioning of people with ADHD and increase their health care costs and utilization. In Australia, the annual health system cost of ADHD is estimated to be $546 million. Children and adults with ADHD face various economic challenges and disadvantages, such as lower educational attainment, lower income, higher unemployment, higher poverty, lower productivity, higher criminality, higher health care expenses, and higher social service costs. The annual cost of ADHD to the Australian society is estimated to be $20.4 billion, which comprises $12.8 billion in financial costs and $7.6 billion in wellbeing costs.
Awareness of ADHD: ADHD is not a result of poor parenting, low intelligence, or moral weakness. ADHD is a lifelong condition that can persist from childhood to adulthood and affect various aspects of life. The importance of recognising ADHD as a genetic, neurological medical condition, requiring medication as a first line of successful management, and not a behavioural issue, cannot be overstated. Health professionals, educators, employers and the public lack awareness and understanding of ADHD, which causes stigma, discrimination and underdiagnoses of ADHD. Research funding for ADHD in Australia is inadequate, which hampers the development of evidence-based practice guidelines, interventions, and policies for people with ADHD. This also limits the opportunities for innovation and collaboration in addressing the challenges posed by ADHD. Children with ADHD typically receive a disproportionate percentage of school based harassment, both from peers, and education staff. Routinely EAPs are formulated in opposition to recommendations made by specialist practitioners, and children are severely punished for not meeting the often odious or impossible goals. Detentions, responsibilities, suspensions, supervision and expulsions are common place. In the classroom, ignorant and unqualified teachers harass students and parents to stop behaviours they, from no basis, deem developmentally inappropriate. Time off to be with the excluded children is often supported by employers, higher education facilities, until they decide that enough is enough. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that has a strong genetic basis. ADHD is associated with structural and functional differences in the brain, especially in the regions involved in attention, executive function, emotion regulation and reward processing. ADHD is also influenced by environmental factors that can affect gene expression and brain development. The name ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is inadequate and misleading for several reasons. First, it implies that the core symptoms of the disorder are only attention deficit and hyperactivity, while ignoring the causal and key features such as impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, and executive dysfunction. Second, it suggests that attention deficit and hyperactivity are always present and equally severe in all cases of ADHD, while ignoring the heterogeneity and variability of the disorder across individuals, subtypes, and contexts. Third, it conveys a negative and stigmatising view of the disorder as a deficit or a problem, while ignoring the strengths and potential of people with ADHD.
Conclusion The writing is on the wall, whether you read it or not is irrelevant to its truth; improve the outcomes for people with ADHD and the entire nation will benefit, go on ignoring its magnitude and we will continue the cycle again, until the next generation finally addresses it. Addressing it represents net savings for the Commonwealth Government, and the states and territories. I think we could find other ways to spend $7 billion dollars than on badly managing ADHD in Australia.
I am happy to answer more questions or speak to any of the points raised herein.

2023.06.10 17:00 AutoModerator What are the benefits and side effects of Ashwagandha?

What is ashwagandha?
The ashwagandha plant is one of the most powerful herbs. Various parts of the ashwagandha plant are used for medicinal purposes, with ashwagandha extract mainly being used in supplements. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen, a natural agent that reportedly helps the body cope with stress. As a result, it’s believed to be effective at helping reduce levels of the stress hormone, cortisol. It may also therefore potentially help with anxiety and depression too.
What does ashwagandha do?
Reduces Stress and Anxiety
Ashwagandha is known to help reduce stress and anxiety. One way it does this is by reducing levels of cortisol, a hormone that is released in response to stress. Additionally, ashwagandha has been shown to improve mood and cognitive function, both of which can be negatively affected by stress.
Enhances Cognitive Function
Ashwagandha has also been shown to improve cognitive function. One study showed that it improved memory and reaction time in healthy adults. Another study found that it improved task performance in people with ADHD. Additionally, ashwagandha may help prevent age-related cognitive decline.
Boosts Energy Levels
Ashwagandha has been shown to boost energy levels. One study showed that it increased stamina and reduced fatigue in people with chronic fatigue syndrome. Additionally, ashwagandha may help improve exercise performance.
Additionally, ashwagandha may also help improve sleep quality and reduce inflammation. These effects can all contribute to enhanced energy levels.
Regulates Blood Sugar Levels
Ashwagandha has been shown to help regulate blood sugar levels. One study showed that it improved insulin sensitivity in people with type II diabetes. Additionally, ashwagandha may help reduce fasting blood sugar levels and improve symptoms of diabetes.
Additionally, ashwagandha may also help lower cholesterol levels and protect against heart disease. These effects can also contribute to improved blood sugar control.
Lowers Blood Pressure
Ashwagandha has been shown to help lower blood pressure. One study showed that it improved blood pressure in people with hypertension. Additionally, ashwagandha may help reduce stress and anxiety, both of which can contribute to high blood pressure.
Is ashwagandha safe?
Ashwagandha is generally considered safe for most people. However, it can cause side effects such as stomach upset, diarrhea, and vomiting in some people. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, it's best to avoid ashwagandha.
What happens when you take ashwagandha daily?
As a sleep aid, ashwagandha may help people get to sleep faster and stay asleep for longer. It is also used to promote male potency. Ashwagandha has a variety of health benefits, including reduced blood sugar levels, inflammation, mood, memory, stress and anxiety relief, as well as an increase in muscle strength and fertility. Depending on your requirements, dosages vary from 250 to 500 mg per day for at least one month.
When it comes to stress relief, ashwagandha may be as effective as some prescription medications. A 2010 study found that the herb was just as effective as lorazepam (Ativan) in reducing stress and anxiety. click the link below to learn more about abhwagandha, and its real health benefits.

2023.06.10 16:47 IfUDontKnowNowUKnow1 My first “order not delivered” report

My first “order not delivered” report
So a hour ago, i received an email for my first “a customer reported order wasn’t delivered” after 500 deliveries. Yesterday i had an order by a brand new customer on her 1st order. She ordered like $300 worth from walmart. I was suspicious and would have dropped the order, but the last time i tried to look out for IC they penalized me by not removing the cancel and telling me I shouldn’t have canceled. What had happened last time was someone ordered TWO high ticket priced Dewalt Miter Saw tools from Lowes for delivery to an apartment. Even the guy at Lowes was like “you need two? I have never seen anyone buy two before”. But anyway here is my chat with IC about the Walmart fraud. What should I expect? Anyone know?

2023.06.10 16:38 detailed_fish April 22nd Q’uo channeling now available — Topics: Crystallization of our complexes; intoning aum in meditation; working with the elements; death in higher densities; does Q’uo meditate; simultaneous incarnations; whether to serve in the world or to isolate.

https://www.llresearch.org/channeling/2023/0422
I am Q’uo, and we greet each of you in the love and in the light of the One Infinite Creator. We thank you all this afternoon for joining together in your group consciousness to present to us queries that may be able to help you move further along on your spiritual journeys. Before we begin with the queries, we would remind you that we are your brothers and sisters. And we are, perhaps, further along on the spiritual journey than are you, but we are not ultimate authorities. So then we would ask you to consider the words and concepts that we offer to you today with your own personal discrimination. If there are any words or concepts that do not ring of truth to you at this time, please do not consider them necessary to keep. Set them aside. Use only those that have resonance with you at this time. That will allow us to speak more freely. We do not wish to place any stumbling blocks within your spiritual path.
List of Questions:
Can you please speak to the nature of crystallization as it pertains to body/mind/spirit complexes such as us? What does it mean to crystallize one of the energy centers or to say that a person is crystallized or that a marriage is a crystallized relationship?
   Click for Answer
Your standard of excellence is quite high with that answer. My follow up is: are there qualities of an unshakable crystal or of prana that we can meditate on or visualize in order to manifest crystallization? Could one visualize colors, for example, or light? Thank you.
   Click for Answer
When intoning aum in meditation, does it make any difference whether you do it silently or whether you do it out loud?
   Click for Answer
I’ve recently had some desires and some experiences working with the elements earth, fire, air, and water. In regards to healing, I’m interested in working with these elements to invoke healing of the planet and of the people on this planet. My question is can you speak on the importance of working with the elements in regards to healing of the earth?
   Click for Answer
Is there any particular order in the elements that should be followed with healing?
   Click for Answer
So you know in third density we have the death of this body, and I wonder if in the other densities is there a form of death of like in fourth density of the light body. Is there a death in those densities?
   Click for Answer
Q’uo, may I please ask, do you meditate? If so, what do you meditate on? Do you do a silent meditation, or do you send love or light or other energy or do you create a visualization?
   Click for Answer
Would you suggest that we learn from your description of your meditation and pursue this type of meditation ourselves?
   Click for Answer
There is a medium who talks about our soul energy. He defines it as like a sun with many rays. And that really our soul energy can be embodied in many at one time. Is that an accurate statement?
   Click for Answer
Q’uo, I often despair that we will be able to help beings reach the harvest, and that we will be able to heal Mother Earth. The way things are going, I sometimes wonder if it’s better to find a cabin in the woods, and just be quiet and manifest love and light in that place alone and not try to help others. So my question is, is it better to, in this situation that we’re in at the current time, is it better to try to try to help people or to go live in a cabin in the woods and be loving in a private way, or doesn’t matter?

2023.06.10 16:34 CoderBro_CPH Are OpenAI selling GPT4 but actually giving us GPT3.5? Writing erotica proves it!

I think so and that is fraud.
Currently the OpenAI forum is full of power users such as myself noticing and complaining about the decrease in quality in the last month for the paid GPT4 version:
https://community.openai.com/t/experiencing-decreased-performance-with-chatgpt-4/234269/108
I myself have noticed this and a very obvious decrease in quality. Much less precise, forgets contexts much easier, not as nuanced, not as advanced.
What I feel I'm getting is simply not GPT4. This feels as a barely souped up GPT3.5 and I think it might very well be.
One reason I feel that way, and laugh if you must, is that I, like many others, enjoy getting ChatGPT to write erotica (/chatgptnsfw).
This is an area where it was very obvious how much GPT4, but that's not really the smoking gun.
The smoking gun is that GPT3.5 had some fairly obvious word filters. If you wrote pussy/cock, then you would get a message back saying "I'm sorry I won't help you write that" or something along those lines.
GPT4 would not do that in the last 2 months. It would simply remove the request if it was deemed as violating rules, but generally almost nothing was. You could easily ask it to write "explicitly and use pussy/cock etc". It would simply do it.
What happens now is that GPT4 has begun giving the same "I'm sorry, I won't help you write that" response, that simply was not there in GPT4 in the last 2 months.
My conclusion: OpenAI has done a bait and switch. We're no longer getting GPT4 but a spinoff of GPT3.5.
This is not ok. This is not what I paid for. If quality does not improve very soon, I will switch to other options. GPT4 was superior in coding and writing, but GPT3.5 was not.
I don't care if you have to increase cost to $50 for GPT4, but the current GPT 3.6 is simply not worth any money at all.

2023.06.10 16:29 Willis_Brown How to plan an assignment – beginner tips.

When planning an assignment, having the right mindset is essential. A solid plan can help you break down tasks and organize your thoughts to complete any project successfully. Here are some tips on how to plan an effective assignment:
Break it down:
Before starting work, identify all the steps involved in completing the task and list them chronologically. This will be your roadmap as you progress with your work and complete sections one by one till the finish line.
Identify resources:
List out the required resources which will come into play when working on each step - such as research materials, software tools or hardware that you'll require etc. Ensure all these items are within easy reach when needed so there are minimal delays while progressing through a stage of your assignment planning process.
Set deadlines & milestones:

Mindful Health Revolution

ChatGPT Title: The Power of Mindfulness: Transforming Your Health and Well-being
Introduction:
In today's fast-paced and stress-filled world, prioritizing our health and well-being has become more important than ever. While diet and exercise are often the primary focus of our health routines, there is a powerful tool that is often overlooked: mindfulness. Mindfulness is the practice of bringing our attention to the present moment, cultivating a non-judgmental awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Its benefits extend far beyond stress reduction, impacting our overall health and well-being in profound ways. In this article, we will explore the transformative power of mindfulness and how it can improve various aspects of our lives.
Reducing Stress and Anxiety: Stress and anxiety have become all too common in our modern lives. Mindfulness offers a way to manage and reduce these overwhelming feelings. By practicing mindfulness meditation, individuals can develop the ability to observe their thoughts and emotions without getting caught up in them. This awareness allows for a healthier response to stressors, promoting a greater sense of calm and relaxation. Numerous studies have shown the effectiveness of mindfulness in reducing stress, anxiety, and even symptoms of depression.
Enhancing Mental Clarity and Focus: The constant distractions and information overload of the digital age can make it challenging to maintain focus and clarity. Mindfulness training can help sharpen our attention and concentration skills. Regular mindfulness practice has been found to increase activity in the prefrontal cortex, the area of the brain responsible for executive functions such as decision-making and problem-solving. This improved cognitive function can enhance productivity, creativity, and overall mental performance.
Cultivating Emotional Resilience: Mindfulness can transform our relationship with our emotions, allowing us to respond to them in a healthier and more balanced way. By cultivating awareness of our emotions as they arise, we can avoid getting overwhelmed or reacting impulsively. Mindfulness helps us develop emotional resilience, enabling us to navigate difficult emotions with greater ease and acceptance. Over time, this practice can lead to increased emotional well-being and improved relationships with others.
Promoting Physical Health: The mind and body are deeply interconnected, and the benefits of mindfulness extend to our physical well-being as well. Research has shown that mindfulness can reduce blood pressure, alleviate chronic pain, boost the immune system, and even improve sleep quality. By reducing stress and promoting relaxation, mindfulness contributes to overall physical health and vitality.
Supporting Healthy Eating Habits: Mindful eating is a practice that encourages us to pay attention to our eating experience with all our senses. By slowing down, savoring each bite, and tuning in to our body's signals of hunger and fullness, we can develop a healthier relationship with food. Mindful eating helps us make conscious choices, avoid emotional eating, and enjoy our meals fully. It can contribute to weight management, digestion, and overall nutrition.
Conclusion:
Mindfulness is a powerful tool that holds the potential to transform our health and well-being in profound ways. By incorporating mindfulness practices into our daily lives, we can reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, cultivate emotional resilience, promote physical health, and develop healthier habits. It is important to remember that mindfulness is a skill that requires regular practice and patience. With commitment and consistency, we can harness the power of mindfulness and embark on a journey towards improved health and a more balanced life.

2023.06.10 16:22 Stewiee2 Update 29: New Actor class, Doctor rework, level editor update, and improvements

Update 29: New Actor class, Doctor rework, level editor update, and improvements
This update adds lots of improvements to the game and its level editor, and features a brand-new "Actor" robber class, as well as a reworked "Doctor" class!
https://preview.redd.it/hqgc3nqe975b1.png?width=683&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff71b94d97bd2902ef679bb0a64579c60bad23ef
The Actor joins the robber team with the ability to play dead, allowing him to hide among other dead bodies and fool cops in gunfights. He also spawns with a small crowd of NPC customer fans around him, giving him a bit more cover at his spawn location, and he can promote one NPC per round to his personal "Stunt Double", who will then help him and his team to rob the bank!
https://preview.redd.it/wvhlq8ug975b1.png?width=678&format=png&auto=webp&s=22ed2496f2c8c3dacc2c72a8238b3a79545dda80
The Doctor has been reworked for this update, shifting his focus from combat strength to a more supportive role. His Heavy Pistol primary weapon has been replaced with a new Syringe Gun, which deals damage to enemies but is able to heal allies on-hit, the syringes have significant bullet drop and a slower velocity, making them harder to hit at longer ranges. His new ability "Experimental Serum" charges those syringes for 10 seconds, increasing the speed of hit teammates while healing for every hit on cop players. To allow him to still recover the bodies of his teammates by throwing flashbangs at nearby cops, his secondary pistol has been replaced with a Flashbang Launcher.
The FED Agent cop class also got adjusted, her sprint speed is now slightly reduced while carrying money to promote actually hiding it somewhere in the employee area instead of running around with it for the whole round, The Arms Dealer can now access his purchases faster, with the supply package spawning closer to him, and falling down faster.
https://preview.redd.it/p15tpmvj975b1.png?width=682&format=png&auto=webp&s=785d88a194f0b0e4f095f88b54ee81204006b86f
The old "Casino" map has been renamed to "Arcade" to better reflect it's visual style, it also received some lighting and performance upgrades, it now looks a lot brighter and more colorful!
A number of quality-of-life improvements have also made their way into this update, starting from a new "Disable Chat" setting which blends out all player-generated chat messages while displaying server messages. A new "Open Lobby" server setting has also been added, if players don't manually enable it, their servers will display as server-protected, even though they do not have a password set. By requiring a conscious decision to open up your server to random players this should prevent situations where players accidentally opened a public lobby, kicking any players that might join, resulting in frustration on both sides.
Additionally, a new "mid-round" robber spawn has also been added to all official maps and the level editor, robbers that join mid-round or get respawned will be placed there, instead of at one of the regular spawn points that might be too close to the action, resulting in them getting killed instantly by a nearby cop.
The level editor has received numerous bugfixes for this update, especially relating to users being unable to upload their maps to the Steam Workshop. The "Custom Stealable Object" has also been updated to be easier to use, and to allow any existing meshes to be used as a stealable target for the robbers. A new deletion system for default meshes inside the level editor has been added, map creators can now simply press the "Delete" key to remove unwanted objects, instead of having to rely on the old "Floor Remover", which was tricky to use sometimes.
New:
  • added new robber class "Actor" (Pistol, Flashbang Launcher, can play dead, spawns with some fans [AI Customers] around him, can recruit an NPC to help with the heist)
  • added new weapon "Syringe Gun", syringes are affected by gravity, and heal teammates
  • added "Disable Chat" setting, disables all chat messages except server messages
  • added "Open Lobby" host option, if disabled, server is always shown as password-protected even if no password was selected (disabled by default, so having an open lobby is a conscious decision now)
  • added play/winrate tracking for robber masks (not tracked per player)
  • added new midround robber spawn point (robbers that join mid-round, or get revived by using a robber respawn spawn there)
  • Changes:
  • Doctor weapons changed from Heavy Pistol + Automatic Pistol to Syringe Gun + Flashbang Launcher
  • Doctor active ability changed from "Flashbang Throw" to "Experimental Serum": loads an experimental serum into his syringe that steals HP from hit enemies and gives bonus speed to teammates
  • improved PC hitboxes
  • Arms Dealer supplies now spawn 20m above him, instead of 30m
  • Arms Dealer supplies parachute fall speed increased from 3m/s to 5m/s
  • reduced FED Agents sprint speed while carrying money from 6m/s (default) to 5m/s
  • increased time after round start before player footprints spawn from 3s to 5s
  • Fox mask now also increases speed while carrying gym and drill bags Map Changes: Arcade:
  • renamed "Casino" map to "Arcade"
  • lighting improvements
  • added some new decorative props and signs
  • GPU performance improvements Fixes:
  • fixed Master Thief being spotted by cameras while the camera box is disabled
  • fixed cop FED Chairman not reviving cop bots
  • fixed players getting AFK kicked while controlling vehicles
  • fixed typo in "Vote was succesful" message
  • potential fix for cops getting fired if disconnected player kills AI (through bombs or barrels for example)
  • fixed respawn time settings getting reset when opening the server options menu
  • fixed newer classes not having stat/rank tracking enabled (live immediately)
  • fixed spectators/cop operators sometimes spawning class specific objects like extra bombs or VIPs
  • fixed Steam session not being destroyed properly when host quits/leaves to main menu, resulting in clients having to restart the game to be able to join servers again
  • fixed Heavy getting stunned by Fed Agents decoys even if he destroyed them with his rocket launcher
  • fixed robbers getting revived with their mask on if they died while wearing it
  • fixed issue with cops not exiting their vehicles correctly after killing an NPC, resulting in their character just floating without being able to interact with anything Level Editor:
  • reworked level editor map loading system (loading maps in the level editor or returning from playtesting is now a lot faster, please backup your map before opening it)
  • fixed "preview.png" sometimes not generating, resulting in workshop upload fail
  • fixed multiple bugs with the new delete system
  • default map meshes like buildings can now be deleted by selecting them and pressing the "Delete" key
  • deleted default meshes can be restored by opening a new recycle bin window
  • gameplay objects like cop cars and rescue vans can now also be deleted
  • added new midround robber spawn point
  • added visual indicators for respawn point spawn zones
  • fixed multiple bugs related to level editor cop spawns
  • "Custom Stealable Object" and "Custom Door" can now use any other level editor prop
  • added new "Logic Alert", outputs an alert to the selected teams when powered
  • added "Anti Grappling Hook Surface" object
  • added new selection menu for existing meshes, for now only used in the "Custom Stealable Object"

2023.06.10 16:06 s0lidute Written by my 13-year old sibling

Was it a mere dream, the fruit of joyful imagination, devoid of evil? Or was it indeed a sinister matter, disguised behind the mask of a dream? For all I know, I’ll never know.
The room was pure white, the three doors were no exception. Who am I? In a moment of despair and confusion, I realized that I couldn’t answer. Yes, surely human, I concluded. In hindsight, it was quite foolish to assume, when I wasn’t even in possession of a physical body. What if I had been a brain floating in a barrel, forever and ever in the endless abyss of space, or even a supercomputer, crafted to convince itself, that it was indeed human, a product of nature. Then in midst of me contemplating my existence, all three of the doors swung open, surely not with a breeze of wind, but surely not with assistance of technology. It must’ve been the work of humanity, the sole bridge between nature and invention. In a strange turn of fate, I knew exactly where the door would take me to, the first of the absurd trio, lead to the past. The second lead to the future, and the third…- I didn’t know. Would the third be a simulation of the, or rather my, ideal life, or would I find out how I came to be in this pitiful situation? Yes, dear reader, you might advise me to choose the former doors, but I was simply afraid of what was hidden behind the purely white doors. I figured the whiteness must be a stark contrast to my state of mind if I chose the wrong door, I feared the prolonged duration of my stay in this room, that was purely white. I feared that this room was indeed my whole existence, my past and future, unavoidable and impossible to leave, that this was just a morbid joke by my imprisoners, to assure themselves, again and again, that they were indeed in control, by giving me hope. I feared that it was my own brain, that imprisoned me, but simultaneously I hoped this highly unlikely theory to be veritable. And then there was the third door. I was painfully aware that my conclusions, theories, justifications etc., were impossible to prove, they were just as baseless, just in desperate need of a true foundation as my existence. Without any hesitation I entered, I don’t know how. Everything after was a blur, I was Jane Smith. A teenage girl, that went to a school with an insufficient number of chairs in each classroom. She drank grape juice and was in the track and field team of her school, but only because her mother forced her. As time passed, Jane Smith rid herself of me. I couldn’t influence her actions or her thoughts, in the same extent as I had been able to before. I could feel myself vanishing, as a mere spectator in the stands cheering the absurd performance of the absurd performers on. Then I was Izel Pearson, a woman of 30 years. She was the daughter of immigrants and worked as an engineer in Copenhagen. I witnessed her wedding, the ups and downs of her marriage and then, yet again I was pushed out of her life. Next came an elderly Southeast Asian man, he rarely spoke or was spoken with. I never heard his name, he lived in a two-apartment flat, and was an atheist. My stay was cut short by his sudden death, due to the collapse of his respiratory system, nobody attended the funeral, I was the only visitor, though semi-willingly. For a while I was confined to his depressing flat, that even managed to bore down on to my non-existent state of mind, but then I found myself in Angola. I experienced life through the eyes of an impoverished teenager, with aggression problems but not enough funds for therapeutical treatment. One day his psychological problems got out of hand, and he stabbed a fellow classmate, injuring him fatally. He was imprisoned and forced to serve 25 years in prison, a life sentence in Angolan law. He managed to turn his life around and studied Medicine. It was my first success. More than 10,000 souls I inhabited, but I have no desire or need to remember, there were not many successes after him.
And then I was in the white room again, the doors closed. I was nothing, just as I always had been.
I’ll always be glad that I have such a great imagination. As the act of imprisoning oneself is far less humiliating than simply accepting fate, for the rest of eternity.

2023.06.10 16:05 JoshAsdvgi THE SIOUX WHO MARRIED THE CROW CHIEF'S DAUGHTER

THE SIOUX WHO MARRIED THE CROW CHIEF'S DAUGHTER

THE SIOUX WHO MARRIED THE CROW CHIEF'S DAUGHTER
A war party of seven young men, seeing a lone tepee standing on the edge of a heavy belt of timber, stopped and waited for darkness, in order to send one of their scouts ahead to ascertain whether the camp which they had seen was the camp of friend or enemy.
When darkness had settled down on them, and they felt secure in not being detected, they chose one of their scouts to go on alone and find out what would be the best direction for them to advance upon the camp, should it prove to be an enemy.
Among the scouts was one who was noted for his bravery, and many were the brave acts he had performed.
His name was Big Eagle.
This man they selected to go to the lone camp and obtain the information for which they were waiting.
Big Eagle was told to look carefully over the ground and select the best direction from which they should make the attack.
The other six would await his return.
He started on his mission, being careful not to make any noise.
He stealthily approached the camp.
As he drew near to the tent he was surprised to note the absence of any dogs, as these animals are always kept by the Sioux to notify the owners by their barking of the approach of anyone.
He crawled up to the tepee door, and peeping through a small aperture, he saw three persons sitting inside.
An elderly man and woman were sitting at the right of the fireplace, and a young woman at the seat of honor, opposite the door.
Big Eagle had been married and his wife had died five winters previous to the time of this episode.
He had never thought of marrying again, but when he looked upon this young woman he thought he was looking upon the face of his dead wife.
He removed his cartridge belts and knife, and placing them, along with his rifle, at the side of the tent, he at once boldly stepped inside the tepee, and going over to the man, extended his hand and shook first the man's hand, then the old woman's, and lastly the young woman's.
Then he seated himself by the side of the girl, and thus they sat, no one speaking.
Finally, Big Eagle made signs to the man, explaining as well as possible by signs, that his wife had died long ago, and when he saw the girl she so strongly resembled his dead wife that he wished to marry her, and he would go back to the enemy's camp and live with them, if they would consent to the marriage of their daughter.
The old man seemed to understand, and Big Eagle again made signs to him that a party were lying in wait just a short distance from his camp.
Noiselessly they brought in the horses, and taking down the tent, they at once moved off in the direction from whence they had come.
The war party waited all night, and when the first rays of dawn disclosed to them the absence of the tepee, they at once concluded that Big Eagle had been discovered and killed, so they hurriedly started on their trail for home.
In the meantime, the hunting party, for this it was that Big Eagle had joined, made very good time in putting a good distance between themselves and the war party.
All day they traveled, and when evening came they ascended a high hill, looking down into the valley on the other side.
There stretched for two miles, along the banks of a small stream, an immense camp.
The old man made signs for Big Eagle to remain with the two women where he was, until he could go to the camp and prepare them to receive an enemy into their village.
The old man rode through the camp and drew up at the largest tepee in the village.
Soon Big Eagle could see men gathering around the tepee.
The crowd grew larger and larger, until the whole village had assembled at the large tepee. Finally they dispersed, and catching their horses, mounted and advanced to the hill on which Big Eagle and the two women were waiting.
They formed a circle around them and slowly they returned to the village, singing and riding in a circle around them.
When they arrived at the village they advanced to the large tepee, and motioned Big Eagle to the seat of honor in the tepee.
In the village was a man who understood and spoke the Sioux language.
He was sent for, and through him the oath of allegiance to the Crow tribe was taken by Big Eagle.
This done he was presented with the girl to wife, and also with many spotted ponies.
Big Eagle lived with his wife among her people for two years, and during this time he joined in four different battles between his own people (the Sioux) and the Crow people, to whom his wife belonged.
In no battle with his own people would he carry any weapons, only a long willow coup-stick, with which he struck the fallen Sioux.
At the expiration of two years he concluded to pay a visit to his own tribe, and his father-in-law, being a chief of high standing, at once had it heralded through the village that his son-in-law would visit his own people, and for them to show their good will and respect for him by bringing ponies for his son-in-law to take back to his people.
Hearing this, the herds were all driven in and all day long horses were brought to the tent of Big Eagle, and when he was ready to start on his homeward trip, twenty young men were elected to accompany him to within a safe distance of his village.
The twenty young men drove the gift horses, amounting to two hundred and twenty head, to within one day's journey of the village of Big Eagle, and fearing for their safety from his people, Big Eagle sent them back to their own village.
On his arrival at his home village, they received him as one returned from the dead, as they were sure he had been killed the night he had been sent to reconnoiter the lone camp. There was great feasting and dancing in honor of his return, and the horses were distributed among the needy ones of the village.
Remaining at his home village for a year, he one day made up his mind to return to his wife's people.
A great many fancy robes, dresses, war bonnets, moccasins, and a great drove of horses were given him, and his wife, and he bade farewell to his people for good, saying, "I will never return to you again, as I have decided to live the remainder of my days with my wife's people."
On his arrival at the village of the Crows, he found his father-in-law at the point of death.
A few days later the old man died, and Big Eagle was appointed to fill the vacancy of chief made by the death of his father-in-law.
Subsequently he took part in battles against his own people, and in the third battle was killed on the field.
Tenderly the Crow warriors bore him back to their camp, and great was the mourning in the Crow village for the brave man who always went into battle unarmed, save only the willow wand which he carried.
Thus ended the career of one of the bravest of Sioux warriors who ever took the scalp of an enemy, and who for the love of his dead wife, gave up home, parents, and friends, to be killed on the field of battle by his own tribe.

2023.06.10 16:02 Swordbreaker925 My thoughts after having just finished the campaign...

I could keep going and keep adding thoughts as they come to me, but overall I really enjoyed this game's story. I have gripes with it like anyone else, but this was a solid 9/10 experience for me. Plenty of gripes with other things like a "skill tree" that's just a linear progression system but that's another topic for another day.

2023.06.10 16:02 Gnissepappa Is it just me who feel conflicted about Game Porting Toolkit?

More games to Mac should be exclusively good news, right? Well, I feel a bit conflicted about it, especially in regard to Apple's new Game Porting Toolkit. Don't get me wrong, it most certainly will bring more games to Mac. But the quality of the games might suffer, in many cases dramatically. And it provides a lazy way for developer to port their games to Mac. Down the line, this might actually enhance the "mac is bad for gaming" trope, because Mac ports will be performing worse than their PC counterpart.
Game Porting Kit is also nothing new. An almost identical product called TransGaming Cider, was available for Mac 10-15 years ago. As with GPTK, it was a Wine wrapper with some extra DirectX support. Cider made some previously PC only games available for Mac, like GTA San Andreas and Need For Speed Carbon, as well as a plethora of unofficial game releases, commonly found via torrent. However, it didn't see much success in the long run. And the ported games received mixed reviews, as they often were more buggy than their Windows counterpart, as well as performing much worse. And that was when Windows and Mac both ran natively on Intel. Now, with Apple Silicon, we need an emulation layer in addition to all the other translation layers. So even though a current game will decently well on a M1/M2 Mac with GPTK, upcoming games might not. And a PC with hardware as powerful as an M1/M2 Mac, will run said games much better.
So I feel like Game Porting Toolkit in some ways is a step backwards in regard to gaming on Mac. It enables developers to make bad, lazy ports of their games, which very well might bring down the reputation of Mac as a gaming platform even further. And considering it is dependent on Rosetta2, when Apple stops supporting Rosetta in the future, all these games will stop working, and the game devs suddenly have to do an actual port, or just stop supporting Mac. And when looking back at TransGaming Cider, we know what happened; no more GTA or Need for Speed for Mac.

2023.06.10 16:01 AnimeGamer_LEGACY An Honest Opinion on Rengoku's Power Level

I feel like rengoku's a character whose power level is either overrated and to counteract that people now underate him heavily so i wanted to just list his feats and the data provided by the manga and the
lines provided in the side stories and chapters to find out the perfect ranking of rengoku in the hashiras.
First the list of his feats and talents
  1. Trained by himself to attain the level of a hashira(his father didnt really train him because he was depressed so he technically learned flame breathing and all his techniques just by the books in his household)
  2. He killed lower moon 2 hairo
  3. Trained mitsuri the love hashira
  4. Uzui said he cant be like rengoku and said him to be talented(he also named only three hashiras gyomei, muichiro and rengoku meaning he respects these three to be stronger than him)
  5. held of akaza non serious akaza for a lot of time and was praised a lot by the demon for almost reaching the realm of superiority(i will eloborate on this fight more ahead)
  6. was strong and fast enough to protect 5 cars of a train from enmu who was a buffed lower moon 1 since he was given more blood by the muzan to kill the hashira and also unleashed all his techniques to protect the passengers from a tumbling train
  7. was able to hold out a 100% serious akaza by his arms alone while having a gaping hole in his solar plexus his strength was so much the akaza had to tear out his own arms to escape
Now first let me tell the rankings and the reason behind them before the mark
  1. Gyomei
  2. Rengoku
  3. Sanemi
  4. Muichiro
  5. Obanai
  6. Giyu
  7. Uzui = mitsuri(though i think mitsuri may be slightly stronger)
  8. Shinobu
First of all i don't think their should be any dispute about Gyomei bieng no.1
Now and i also dont think their should be any dispute about puttingn rengoku agead of uzui, mitsuri(unmarked) and shinobu
now about unmarked giyu vs rengoku giyu was knocked out by akaza at the start with a kick(explosive flurry and even he said that he sent him flying.

https://preview.redd.it/o3d857c0z65b1.png?width=657&format=png&auto=webp&s=9419b7adf4bb6f8f7157c86b5f0b939a567ed4a3

https://preview.redd.it/rr22yc1qy65b1.png?width=641&format=png&auto=webp&s=31bad94e59cc49213326d6a7319c483b4245eaa1
also some people may say that akaza was more serious in this fight i think akaza only got serious after tanjiro's selfless state akaza's whole fighting technique revolves around first seeing all the techniques of the slayer fighting him and then killing them as stated here.

https://preview.redd.it/eurn2yxdz65b1.png?width=657&format=png&auto=webp&s=7ef616111608fb2b7271b5d11fd4e1bda10790c4
giyu was not praised by akaza even after manifesting his mark and he was about to die with just an uppercut from akaza if he was not saved by tanrijo he would have died then and there and became a donut just like rengoku.

https://preview.redd.it/m62l63mtz65b1.png?width=989&format=png&auto=webp&s=7d251ca7d1e01c3c81de85cc26d255729533b427
https://preview.redd.it/3il43ryxz65b1.png?width=667&format=png&auto=webp&s=f0c8168a97c9163454cd86f5e06c590348d08c5b
now there is also argument about giyu tanking akaza's move "End Style : Chaotic Silver Blue" which people say to be his strongest move but i dont think thats the case end type is basically an AOE move which sends multiple shockwaves in each direction i dont think its as powerful as a single target annihilation type Destructive death just because it was aimed and delivered at a point blank range while chatic silver blue is a ranged attack its more easy to avoid a ranged attack then one delivered at point blank range and the potency is obviously more and also if it truly was his strongest move he would have used that to destory his body but instead he used annihilation type his strongest move to completely destory him.
i know many giyu stans might defend him here but i think even marked giyu was not able to match feats of an unmarked rengoku and without tanjiro's assist would have died faster than rengoku.
Now my reasoning behind putting rengoku above obanai is simply because his statement of even rengoku lost to an uppermoon stating he though he would be able to defeat him i mean uppermoons are obviously way stronger than hashiras yet obanai still expected him to defeat an uppermoon clearly stating his respect for him and also uzui didnt state his name in his inner monologue which makes me think he was as strong as uzui or a little stronger.
now for tokito i think he was not as strong as rengoku without a mark simply because rengoku said this. he says he is more talented than he was at his age clearly saying that rn he is more powerful than him but a 14 year old rengoku was less powerful than a 14 year old tokito.

https://preview.redd.it/d4kihepx275b1.png?width=642&format=png&auto=webp&s=270cc03226413c4a66a0f990551510dad3d35aea

Now for sanemi i dont have any solid proof of him being weaker than rengoku without his mark he fought kokushibo and had a hand in his defeat but sanemi cant be proven stronger than him either simply because he had no solo fight in the fight against kokushibo sanemi had the aid of a cripled muichiro a marked gyomei and genya who ate kokushibo's hair. though ofcourse kokushibo was probably 2-3 times stronger than akaza or maybe even more. though i dont think sanemi had enough training and practice as rengoku rengoku had train his whole life to become the flame hashira while sanemi only started killing demons after his mother became one also he killed them majorly by luring them by his marechi blood and killing them by sunlight so i dont think his swordsmanship is as refined as rengoku though i think it would be also fair to call them equal.

Now for the marked slayers vs (unmarked)rengoku ranking i would say the ranking is as follows
  1. Gyomei
  2. Sanemi
  3. Rengoku
  4. Muichiro
  5. Obanai=Giyu
  6. Mitsuri
I think sanemi with mark probably surpassed rengoku while muichiro i dont think did since even with a mark he was destroyed by kokushibo in a single attack. i think what muichiro lacked was time if he honed his techniques further by training for another 3-4 years i think he could have surpassed all the demon slayers of the current generation.
now marked obanai died in the fight against muzan he succumbed to his injuries. which giyu survived so i think he would be stronger than obanai but obanai achieved red blade through his own while giyu had to rely on sanemi to activate his red blade so i think they are almost equal. why i put them lower than an unmarked rengoku is simply because giyu's performance in the battle against akaza

https://preview.redd.it/h0gy4ogi575b1.png?width=246&format=png&auto=webp&s=6bab3ae081d910aa256d32e79c4b90f3c5cb27ab
https://preview.redd.it/teqzt79g575b1.png?width=255&format=png&auto=webp&s=f890e2e8c5e0e13053e61e221f940beeb72f7697
If u disagree with some of my points please tell me and give fair reasoning from the manga or the other canon material. I finished Reading demon slayer quite recently but i could have missed some points so please feel free to correct me.

2023.06.10 16:01 AutoModerator What are the benefits and side effects of Ashwagandha?
