I have always wanted a compact truck for some reason but I have heard random stuff about all brands. It doesn’t matter what I heard but I wanna know what YOU think.
In your opinion which is the best small truck? Which is the most reliable? The most useful? The best looking?
Whether it is something like:
The Toyota Tacoma,
Ford Ranger,
Chevrolet Colorado…
Which one beats them all out of the bunch in your opinion?

The massive object within stood patiently like a coiled spring, waiting for clearance to move out even as a welcoming party assembled to watch the spectacle.

For the stricken Valkyrie, there was no welcoming committee. There was only industrial waste leaning up from the radioactive fog, cranes and beams reaching up toward the craft as it’s altitude got lower and lower. With.the wastes eager to claim their prize, the co pilot began frantically lobbing things out of the side doors. Food, ammunition, even seat cushions crossed the short distance to the toxic, fog shrouded sands below . For a brief moment, he considered throwing the box out too, before he remembered who had given them their mission. It was imperative that the cargo stayed. Not like a box that small would affect the weight.

The hive’s pads and strurs trembled as shockwaves rolled through them,, heralding the arrival of the lander’s occupant: the Phoenix Imperator. The collosal, twelve metre tall Imperial Knight stepped out onto the pads, pistons and servos powering huge feet that crashed onto the worn metal of the pad. It was hard to believe that all the power the war machine held was controlled by a single man, encased in Adamantium and Ion shields, with a Thunderstrike Gauntlet and heavy stubber to protect it. The true power of the Imperial Knight however was in it’s Thermal Cannon, capable of reducing tanks to a pool of molten metal in an instant, or vaporising bunkers in the blink of an eye.

Out amongst the Ash Wastes, no amount of adamantium could protect the pilots of the Valkyrie from it’s fate. As the vibrations from the Knight’s footsteps passed through the teeming mass of spectators, it unknowingly entered a second battlefield, far more destructive than the teeming hordes of Orks beyond the hive’s walls. A battlefield where it was prey.
Even as the knight's scion moved his war machine past her podium, the governess of the world remained scowling. Not only had her court techpriest ordered one her own Valkyries on an unsanctioned mission, she'd chosen to do so using two of her best pilots. Privately, she hoped it crashed. That way, it'd sabotage the Techpriest's schemes and allow her to send out a search party to steal whatever it was she wanted, right from under her nose. She already had the party lined up, including a promising girl from her own retinue of bodyguards. Besides, she could lure the Knight scion in with promises of power and wealth. If only that damned inquisitor would keep her nose out...
Arethia Jyre. That, as far as the governess was concerned, was the name of the inquisitor. An alter ego, but she didn't care what some bratty little governess thought. The inquisitor was here on the business of her ordo, especially where the Adeptus Mechanicus was concerned. She knew one of them had sent out a Valkyrie- even put a tracker on it. What she didn't know was what the cargo was. Still, she could always send out a party of inquisitorial agents to seize it, or recover the cargo should it crash. It would be a good test for a particularly enterprising young woman in her retinue. She'd be able to report back on this knight as well. If he was any good, he'd be a valuable addition to an inquisitorial retinue...
Of course, the governess and the inquisitor would want the Valkyrie and it's cargo. But, as far as the Adepta Sororitas Abbess was concerned, the relic contained within should be hers. After all, the ecclesiarchy dealt with faith and relics. Her sisters in the Orders Famulous knew what roughly the cargo would be, after all. Still, a rapid response unit of Sisters was prepared for anything, especially if the Valkyrie should fail to arrive. She'd ensured one of her own protégés was amongst the force. It would be a good test, if nothing else. Perhaps she'd even convince the Knight scion to save his soul and align with her convent...

You may have also guessed by now that I’m a huge 40k fan! Also a fan of big stompy robots and forbidden romances, so it’s fairly natural that I’d make a knight focused plot. To set things in stone:

Meanwhile, there’s a 4 way political cold war between the governess of this planet, the sisters of battle, the admech and the Inquisition. To help turn the tide against the greenskins, I’ve just arrived in my Imperial Knight, completely unaware of the mess I’ve wandered into! Of course, this being the Imperium, everyone wants an Imperial Knight for an ally. Depending on how the dice rolls, we could be fighting orks, tyrannids, the Imperium or chaos.
AS FOR YOUR CHARACTER You’ll notice I’ve left your character pretty much open ended. That’s intentional! Ideally, you'll play a character within the retinue of either the Inquisitor, governess, techpriestess and the abbess, where you'll be sent with me on a mission that then kicks off the plot and its many consequences.

Obviously, there's a lot to read here, and a lot of lore backing it up. With that being said, Don't be too concerned or intimidated if you don't know too much about 40k. I swear I've seen something like this before but now Google isn't giving me an answer. I'm looking for a sensor that will tell me if my car is on level ground, specifically because I'm in a camper van and it would be nice to park without having to adjust a couple times to get my car level. Does this exist or did I dream it? If it's vehicle-specific, I've got a 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE.

Early may of last year my brother was found dead in a camper attached to the back of his truck. The medical report said that he had already gone through rigor mortis and livor mortis. When the police got there they ruled his death as a suicide, he had a gun in the truck with him and had a bullet hole in his head, he was laying underneath a tarp and there was no shell casing in or around the truck. He had told me, my mom, and my brother in law that should something happen to him my sister would get the money, but it was found out that his dad got the money (we don’t share a dad). My brother was in the army and had went to fort Leonard wood, there my mom said that he told a DI that he didn’t feel safe living at home with his dad. If you’re wondering where the money went, not a penny to the funeral. My sister paid his funeral and the money all went to boats, motorcycles, guns, and whatever else. His boss (he worked a day job at a security company, he was in the reserves in the army.) told my mom that he never came into work. At that point we had found out he was evicted from his apartment 2 weeks before, I was with my dad so I didn’t know any of this until I found out he was dead. The next morning at 2am my mom and sister found out that he was dead, then 6am that morning I found out. My mom doesn’t think something is right, she finds it suspicious that he put his dad as the beneficiary if he said he didn’t feel safe living there, forgive me if I was not detailed enough, I will be more than happy to answer any questions I can in the comments or in DMs. Thank you all for any help!

Basically, I have about $15 K that I could spend on a used Tacoma, but I can't decide if I should do that or get a used motorcycle for 4-6K.
I have an '05 Toyota Solara in the shop now with 248,000 miles on it. I'm getting the ignition switch and power steering pump replaced and just had the front struts done.
Basically, I'm wanting to move to a new city for other job opportunities and I want something more reliable that won't cause me to miss work and that I can also use for side jobs (I work in plumbing).
My concern with spending $15K on a Tacoma is how do I know it's been well-cared for? I have all the oil change records for my car and it might last another 100K, I just don't want to risk missing work at a new job because of it.
I currently have a company van, but was given it arguably too early. When I switch companies, I likely won't have my own work van for 3-12 months or thereabouts.
I couldn't do side jobs with a motorcycle, but it would be a more economical way to have a backup for getting to work if there were a problem with my Solara.
Whatever I do, I'll be paying cash because I don't want any more hard inquiries on my credit, thus the reason for not financing a newer truck. I may need to pass a credit check for an apartment rental and have two hard inquiries fall off in December. If I got a motorcycle, I would end up buying a newer Tacoma once my Solara is beyond repair or Toyota stops making parts for it.
However, is there a way to buy used trucks/cars with a verified service record? Is that what "certified preowned" means? I've never bought a used car before, so I appreciate any and all insights.

Moving to tahoe California. I want a fun unique car that will perform well in the snow, and be good for hitting offroad trails. I also have a budget of about $10k.
My #1 choice right now is a first generation 4runner. I love that I can take the top off, that makes it check off fun and unique on my list. It seems great in the snow, and i can easily find one for under 10k. The only issue is they are way older than id prefer, considering the first gen with the removalable too ended in like 1988.
My other choices were a ford ranger from the 90s or early 2000s, not quite a unique car but definitely seems fun, and i love how small it is for a pickup truck, they just dont make pickup trucks that small anymore.
Was also looking at 90s/2000s toyota pickups and first gen tacomas. Definitely not unique, but similar to the ford ranger that its a small pickup truck, but probably a bit more reliable, albeit less fun than a ford ranger.
Id love to widen my search, id love something as unique as the first gen 4runner but newer, the 80s just seems to old i want something that also wont leave me stranded.

I'm getting bored of my 2016 Honda Civic after 7 years of ownership, and I'm looking to trade it off. It's been great on gas and very reliable, but it's a small coupe and frankly not interesting to drive anymore.

I enjoy road trips, driving down trails, and offering rides to my friends. It's kind of embarrassing asking them to climb way down into the backseat. The Civic definitely prefers smooth, well-leveled, pothole-free roads... a rarity in Oklahoma. It would be great to drive something more rugged and capable for passengers (4 doors please!) and rough roads. Still, you will also see sedans and hatchbacks on my list because I think they are a good value. I make longer road trips occasionally: my family lives 700 miles away, and there are trips to Dallas about 3 hr away. Although they are great all-rounders, I dislike nearly all unibody SUV's made today. They all look and feel the exact same to me.

I'm aware that the car market and most dealers are still horrible, and it may really not be a good time for me to trade away the Civic. However, I'm looking forward to hearing from y'all so I can narrow my search! :-)

2016 Honda Civic Coupe LX-P, ~78,000 miles. Paid off.

$34,000 on hand including the expected value of the Civic. Prefer not to finance or lease; don't want to pay interest.
