I contacted a lawyer this past week. I just can’t imagine things reconciling at this point since he has had months and the only progress has been from complete denial to a sort of “oops, I guess I inadvertently crossed a line.” Ya’ll I have evidence they “love each other” and multiple, frequent meet-ups when he was “working late.” And even in the face of that, the best he can do is “inadvertently.”
I don’t think I can sweep it under the rug, but I also can’t move forward in a good way with someone who is still mostly in denial and who won’t even google what constitutes an affair, give me a real time line of what happened, or offer any sort of transparency to me.
I am also discovering that he may meet the criteria for narcissism (like for real, not in an “internet insult” kind of way). He hasn’t really shown any understanding of how this impacts me or the kid, and just complains about how this is inconvenient for HIM. And looking back at our relationship, he gets very upset and stays upset when I don’t go along with him on something. Like has felt more “free” since I separated from him after D Day.
But…we have a young kid, and we have had many good times together. There is a ton of history. And single parenting sounds rough (although he had been uninvolved for at least 8 months at this point, so I am used to it).
I just…I feel like this is the best choice. Even with the times he has been super thoughtful and fun, I just don’t see how I can work with someone who not only would betray me but then act CONFUSED about why it is a big deal. Or why he would need to take ownership and make changes (he may still be talking to her for Pete’s sake!).
Divorce will blind side him, even though I have warned him multiple times that without substantial changes that is where we will have to go.
Anyway, any thoughts? I started out totally “team R,” but I can’t be on that team on my own.

So I have been friends with this girl for around 4 years. Before that, we didn't really use to talk, but during COVID 22, we were free asf online and started talking on Instagram DMs after some random interactions. We became really close friends and used to talk for like 7 to 8 hours a day and when around end of 10th grade we were able to go back school after COVID i started to get tease around by her female friends saying due to me she is nowdays not even texting them and me and her both just use to laugh it off but well at very end of 10th grade i realised I have started to like her and it was at very extreme level I'll just say and because I didn't wanted to destroy our friendship we have build I just stopped texting her as much like I'll only text her back 3 or 4 times a day she got very mad at start and was always asking why am I suddenly like this but I just said I am busy because of school and stuff ( we both were in diff school in 11th grade ) and so just like that after month + of her saying this ig she also just gave up and we started talking even less but than this year classmate from last school decided to hold reunion and I went there and she also came after seeing her for this long time it was very unreal type experience in some way we didn't talk much at start but after while we started talking and since that day we have been again in constant touch just like before but around March she started to give off very different vibes than she use to always and specially in recent month she has been constantly acting out of line like telling me visit her home and daily sending her pics and last week when I was busy for a whole day and couldn't reply her she got mad and started saying she won't talk unless I say I love you to her after little bit of trolling around I said it aside from that she has been sending some of those couple reels and kids reel like " my future kids be like " type of vid everyday and today when we were talking she said she wanted to go and eat somthing outside together and before this whenever we have been out together it's been with some of our friends never alone so I just said why not and I said that I'll ask her bestfriend if her bff time and if they will be able to join but she replied with " no ______ is out of city rn she won't come " and my dumbass replied with " oh well in that case we won't be able to go huh " and she just left me on seen at that i figured she might have some work suddenly so I also just turned off mobile . Now I am sitting in the toilet when all this suddenly hits me, like someone was trying to say we should just go alone or something. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, so I'll get some outsiders' views on this.

Just wanted to share this with ya'll as this was something that was very special to all of us.
Our campaign has been running pretty strong for the past 4.5 years, with us playing over Fantasy Grounds every other Saturday. The party consisted of myself Playing Rorik Ironfist, a one armed Dwarven Pugilist, Dibble Dabblestone, a Gnomish ADHD Artificer, Tharic, a half elven multiclass Servant of Mystra (mostly Pally/Cleric) and Fedhin, a warforged (robot more or less) wild magic Barb. The campaign started at level 1 and we ended at 20.
All of us players actually work at the same place and have known each other for many years. But our DM, (name changed for Privacy) Mark and I met first on Xbox nearly ten years ago through his brother when he randomly dragged him into a Crota's End Raid on Destiny. Both are Australian, but Mark lives on the East Coast as he is a professional actor. Spends most of his time in theater. But also has done some voice acting in games and a few smaller films.
Over the course of 4.5 years Mark weaved for us literally the best campaign I have ever played in DnD. It was 100% homebrew with the most vibrant cast of NPC's ever, spanning over most of the Moonshae Isles where it took place. We started out on a lowly fishing ship, barely knowing one another. We fought Goblins, saving the Moonwells, protected Kingdoms. We tavelled to the Fey Wilds asking for help on the side of the road, while a bunch of Fey ignored us. We made a quick enemy of an Arch Fey named "Sadereal" whom Dibbel immediately wrote a song about called "Sadereal's a dick". We "befriended" a Green Dragon. We were sucked into a bottle where we lived in a desert until we could escape. We found ourselves on a space faring ship, The Argent Traveler, making more friends of the crew along the way. We made close friends of William, the proprietor "Williams Wonder Emporium", who was always happy to invite us into his home/shop for a cup of tea and a chat about adventure. We generally over-payed Tanka, the kind and mostly reserved Firbolg owner and bartender of "The Ivy Rose", where we would always sit upstairs and drink in our booth to chat about our next steps. This is where Dibble also found a flyer an upcoming Dinosaur carnival. The entire city showed up to watch the dinosaur ships dock, but all hell broke loose when we found that they were out of their pens with all the crew massacred. We had to track down a bunch of Dinosaurs running amok! This is when Rorik succesfully grappled a T-Rex! (well TBH he grappled a TON of things). Rorik found out about his Long lost family (he was Born in Waterdeep, a beggar, thinking he was tossed out due to his misshapen arm) the Lightrocks. We travelled to White Rock, the largest Dwarven settlement only to find that most of my clan was lost, but a good amount were still holding on. We took back the mines from an evil Beholder named Xualaxisk, who was the one that bit off Rorik's arm as a child. Rorik plunged his fist into the eye and had William fashion a new Ironfist out of it. Dibbel grew close to another smart Gnome named Layla and she helped him make new special ammunition for his rifle "Duchess".
But some evil was set to take over the entire Moonshaes as well as Toril. All this crazyness was coming to a head and we had to stop it. "The Onyx Empress" was behind all of this. All of our friends we made along the way were rallying together, and we found a relic that would allow us to meet the Onyx Empress in a pocket plane.
But months before all this happened, Mark told us that we wouldn't finish the campaign.
At least not over Fantasy Grounds.
He told us that for the last session he wanted to fly out from the East Coast so we could finish the campaign. Together. In the same room.
This was obviously amazing. Not only would I get to meet a good friend whom I had never met in real life, but we would be together when we finshed this story that was so important to all of us. We had a few months to prepare while we contiued to play over FG. We rented an AirBNB on Oregon Coast. Planned Food. We all ordered custom Minis from Hero Forge, as Mark was already painting Minis and creating terrain for the final battle/session.
We knew that we wanted to do something special for Mark. Get him a gift. Something to remember this wonderful journey he took us on. We eventually settled on a party portrait. I contacted MANY artists on Reddit and eventually settled on u/Weeeizard aka Isabell. I asked her to create a drawing of all of our characters, together in the Ivy Rose, but with one extra person there. Mark. Retelling us his stories. Isabell was awesome throughout the entire process. Professional, on time, and never complained if I needed changes done to the characters. She understood how important all of this was to us. We spent four wonderful days together at a rented house on the Oregon coast being nerds. One of which was a 7 hour session where we faced off against our BBEG, The Onyx Empress, with wonderful terrain and gorgeous minis hand painted by the DM we cherish so much. We barely survived only to have the BBEG implode sucking Tharic (the guy toying with the silver flame) in immediately killing him, but sending him back into the hands of his God, Mystra. This is a GOOD death for Tharic. He only ever wanted serve his mistress and was happy to do so to bring balance to Toril. Dibbel was saved barely as he was out of the AOE. The rest of us survived and ended the campaign going our separate ways. Dibbel (the gnome) and Phedin (the warforged) are returning to Caer Callidyrr (the main city in the Moonshae Isles) to help rebuild the city after the destruction the BBEG had brought. Rorik (my character, the tattooed Dwarf) is returning to his clan and family, that he only recently realized were still alive. There is a teleportation circle available so he can go and visit his friends in Caer Callidyrr when he needs.
We presented the art to Mark after the last session and he LOVED it. We all teared up a bit together with him and embraced. He was so greatful for the memories that had now been immotalized.
We finished the weekend, by chilling on the beach, playing a bunch of board games, probably drinking too much and also watching the DnD movie together.

TLDR: We played a 1-20 homebrew campaign over 4.5 years on FG with a DM I had known for a decade but never met. He flew in for the final session so we could play together in the same room. We commissioned some dope art that he loves. It was a wonderful weekend for us and we're starting a new campaign soon!

Look, I get it. It’s poker. But sometimes the poker gods are just bitches.
Just got back from a conference in Vegas at the Westgate. Horrible hotel, but the sports book and poker rooms are nice enough. I only had one evening to get in a proper poker session, so I planned to settle in and grind out my usual 2X stack win. $300 buy in on a 1/2 game. Not high stakes, obviously.
When I tell you I sat for three hours without a playable poker hand, I mean this literally. It was uncanny. How many 8/2 and 9/4’s can a guy get? I never had two cards above a nine. Not once. I tried to play my late positions aggressively, but was re-raised into and folded out. The frustration was growing. This is not my usual arc.
Finally, at the three hour mark, I was dealt pocket 8’s in the big blind (the best hand of the night). I re-raised an $8 bet to $24, and had one mid-table caller.
Flop comes 2,3,8 rainbow. I slow play check. He bets $30. I re-raise all in (roughly $225) and he snap calls and flips over pocket Aces. I show him the bad news with my 8’s. And then he hits the two-outer on the turn with another ace.
Not complaining since I know these nights can happen. But I played patient, high% poker all night, got my money in good when the moment came, and still left getting stacked — and suuuuper irritated.
Poker can be so cruel.

With my starter light, I’ll use it on various parts of my body for 5-10 minutes at a time. It might take about an hour to cover myself front to back. My biggest concern is finding a way to mount this smaller light horizontally. I’m thinking of somehow rigging a camera tripod.

It looks like they have a room where you’re sandwiched between two PlatinumLED full body panels. One session is 10 minutes.
I calculated that for a monthly membership, I could do eight 10 minute sessions a month and after 8 months, I would have spent about $1800 on red light therapy sessions. At that point, I could decide whether or not to pull the trigger on a half-body sized panel
Wondering if you guys think that’s a good way to try this out without committing to a bigger panel?

So I’m following the list below, and I realized I have no de ionized water. Is any other variation fine? What’s the purpose of de-ionized? Could distilled or tap work in the mixture? Thanks

• Add 100g Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark (powdered) to a 1L Borosilicate glass mason jar (clip-top).
• In a separate borosilicate glass (Pyrex) measuring jug measure 750ml of water (I use de-ionized water), add the lye (I use around 40g) to 750ml de-ionised water slowly as a violent chemical reaction occurs and creates a high pH solution and high temperature. We need a pH of 12 or above to break down the cell walls of the bark and release the molecule into the base, so keep adding the lye in small increments and stirring until dissolved or the desired pH is reached (the mixture should turn clear when fully dissolved). Remember to use a stainless steel spoon here so it doesn't get dissolved into your mixture. Allow to cool to room temperature before adding to the powdered bark.
• Mix your cooled-down (room-temp) lye water into the powdered bark (I like to feel the outside of the jug with my hand but you can use a thermometer also). Be careful not to splash it on you and always wear gloves, eye protection and even a face mask to help prevent harmful fumes from being inhaled. Mix until the bark is fully saturated and no dried bark is floating on the top. Take your time with this part and make sure it's done correctly.
• Once you are happy that your base is fully saturated, add your solvent on top. Mix (don't shake) softly for about 10 minutes and let sit for 30 minutes. We are just making sure that every bit of the base has been in contact with the solvent to rip away that molecule. Repeat this process 7/8 times to ensure the solvent has extracted the DMT molecule into it. I like to use the rubber seal on the mason jar during mixing but I remove it during the 30-minute separation periods between mixes to prevent pressure build-up and a possible explosion. Don't worry about emulsions because vibration can help remove them, also I use my glass stirring rod to mix the soup and it does wonders to help separate the layers if they don't do so automatically.
• When you are happy that your solvent has dissolved enough DMT, siphon the solvent layer off into an 8x8 Pyrex dish, put the lid on and let it freeze for 12 hours MINIMUM! -Don't worry about leaving a thin layer of solvent in the mason jar as it gets difficult to siphon without sucking any base into the pipette. You can rest your pipette on the lip of the jar for more stability while siphoning. We will add more solvent on top to start what's called the 2nd pull (you can reuse the solvent from the 1st pull once you bring it back to room temp before adding it back into your base). Once you do this just repeat the mixing and siphon process and it's recommended to do this 3 times (3 pulls) overall but you can do it as many times as you want. You can reuse solvent as many times as you want also, so please don't waste it as it is crucial to the process because it is where the DMT molecules are suspended until the freeze precipitation crystallises them.

My Experian raised 50 points from yesterday to today and the only thing it says changed is my accounts paid on time increased by 7%.
I did submit a credit blocking request due to identity theft but nothing has been removed from what I can see.
Is this a glitch? I’ve been dealing with identity theft and this feels like a massive win but I don’t want to get too excited if it’s not permanent. Transunion and equifax scores did not go up

The house already had like 8 garden beds from the previous owner when I moved in. I think he used native soil to fill them and nothing else, cause its all clay. I've planted things in them before and all they can seem to support is weeds and more weeds. Tried tomatoes last year using Miracle grow raised bed soil on top, as one would expect, did terrible, got maybe 5 tomatoes, all with blossom end rot.
I've already put plants in them this year. Theyre small, and ehhhhh alright. Definitely not as big as they should be at this time. I keep weeding and weeding, but I think the weeds are coming from outside the bed and growing underneath. Dont know how i didnt think about compost until after most of the beds were planted, but I didnt. Used half a bag of store bought compost in a bed with peppers and onions. That was 2 weeks ago, and theyre the same size.
Frankly, a large part of me wants to just dig up the plants I have going, so i can un-build the beds, throw cardboard underneath, and rebuild them with the same original wood. I heard that keeps weeds from getting in underneath. Then mix the soil thats already there with manuer, plant food, and compost. And then put it the plants back in. I know its bad to dig up established plants, but I think it might be better than getting 5 rotted tomatoes again, or growing more weeds than food. Advice?
