I only take vitamins and fish oil.
It’s day 2 now and my eyes are still red and I still feel the burning sensation from accidentally sleeping with my colored contacts on. I have a wedding tomorrow! What should I do?! Plz help! I have no past medical history, also no drugs or alcohol, or medication that I take besides vitamins and fish oil :) in very good shape!

I got rid of the blue and replaced with a black, with a more sleek simple design , . But if desired his name is going to be Hunts-Man :)

With a little help from chatgpt my friend and I wrote a adventure for all to enjoy, we hope you like it!
CHAPTER ONE: Meet Peatar Griffort III
Peatar Griffort III was a man like no other. With his leather jacket, tattoos, and spiked hair, he looked like a cross between a biker and a superhero. But appearances can be deceiving, and Peatar was far from a conventional hero. He had a complex moral code that was often at odds with what was right and what was easy. In a world ravaged by war and suffering, Peatar was a man with a mission, a vigilante who took the law into his own hands.Peatar was a force of nature, a man with a magnetic presence that drew people to him. He was confident, charismatic, and always in control, even when the situation was dire. He had a sharp wit and a wicked sense of humor, and he never hesitated to speak his mind, no matter the consequences. But beneath all the cool exterior, Peatar was a man with a troubled past and a deep-seated sense of guilt. He was always searching for redemption, trying to make up for the mistakes of his past.Peatar was jacked, with muscles that rippled with every movement. CHAPTER TWO: The Beginning of the Journey

After being exiled for stealing medicine for someone in need, Peatar felt a sense of anger and frustration boil within him. He knew that he had made the right decision, but the village saw it as a crime, and he was cast out into the wilderness with nothing but his wits and his trusty purple Dora backpack.With his supplies of food and water, Peatar set out on a journey to find a new home, a place where he could start over and leave his past behind. The journey was long and treacherous, and Peatar encountered many of the dangers that plagued the wasteland, from mutated creatures to treacherous terrain.One day, as Peatar was walking through the wasteland, he stumbled upon a pack of dog-like creatures, fierce and hungry. Peatar, thinking he could take them on, drew his gun and prepared for a fight. But he quickly realized that he was outnumbered and outmatched, and he was soon overpowered by the creatures.As Peatar lay there, badly injured and with his right arm dislocated and torn up, he thought that this was the end. But then, as the creatures closed in, he spotted smoke rising in the distance, a sign of a campfire and possibly salvation. With the last of his strength, Peatar ran towards the smoke, leaving the creatures behind and the supplies they were eating.
CHAPTER THREE: We Meet...
Peatar stumbled into the campsite, his injured arm hanging limply at his side. As he approached the fire, he saw a woman sitting there, staring intently at the flames. She had a wooden leg, and her eyes bulged out of her head like those of a Chihuahua. Peatar was taken aback by her appearance and was about to turn around and leave when she spoke."You're hurt," Lois said, noticing Peatar's injured arm."Yeah, I had a run-in with a dog-like creature, its whatever. i killed them all though. With my sweet big gun pistol" Peatar replied, trying to hide his discomfort."Well, let me have a look," Lois said, getting up from her spot by the fire. "I'm a medic, you know."Peatar reluctantly allowed Lois to examine his arm, and she quickly went to work fixing it. As she worked, Peatar couldn't help but admire her kind personality, despite her unusual appearance."Thanks, bitch" Peatar said, when Lois had finished."No problem," Lois replied with a grin. "What's your name?""Peatar Griffort III, Is the name dont wear it out... whore" Peatar answered."Nice to meet you, Peatar," Lois said, offering her hand. "I'm Lois Shamonis."Peatar shook her hand, still feeling a little uncomfortable. But as they talked and got to know each other better, he found himself growing more and more fond of her quirky personality. He knew he was starting to develop feelings for her, despite her unusual appearance, and he was already dreading the moment he would have to leave her. as the night draw closer to an end peatar finds himself lying in his bedroll, staring at the stars and wondering if he would ever be able to truly love Lois for who she was, flaws and all. And if she would be able to find her way past the hard shell of a personality he build.

I had a thread on here a few weeks ago about what features people don't use and shields was a massive one.
I will definitely class myself as shield dependent in any game, not just DS games, so decided to challenge myself.
I'm not good enough for a SL1 or no hit run, eyes and hands too old, but I thought I'd challenge myself to a no shield run.
Also, I usually summon, except for dancer,, either NPCs or other players, it's a mechanic I really enjoy. So I have also decided to make this more challenging by attempting to solo everything. I am still allowing to be summoned, just not summoning.
I am particularly concerned about Champion Gundyr, Nameless King and Twin Princes, I have only ever solod Nameless once and never managed the other 2 in 9 playthroughs of this game.
Anyway, I decided to go for a deprived start, Iudex Gundyr took about 15 tries, but since then Lucerne has seen me through so far, and having got to the fight with Abyss Watchers, and now going for the Cathedral, I have my faithful Exile Greatsword, I think I'm getting the hang of this now.

Welcome back Middlemarchers! We hit some rather long chapters this week, so I apologize if I omitted any details—plenty of room for discussion. And I’m fascinated to hear what you all think about the direction the book is taking.
Summary
Chapter 36
After the bombshell that is Featherstone's will, Mr. Vincy starts frantically worrying about his children’s future status in society and financial stability. He first targets Fred, for whom he has scant sympathy. He advises Fred to return to college and complete his education, but it remains unclear in this chapter whether Fred will follow this advice.
With the anticipated wealth and land no longer coming his way, Mr. Vincy starts to question the engagement between Lydgate and his daughter, Rosamond. He instructs his wife to persuade Rosamond to break off the engagement. Rosamond, however, remains steadfast and uses subtle manipulation to convince her father to not call off the engagement publicly. Lydgate, a man of higher social standing but modest financial means, remains largely unaware of the family's monetary difficulties until Rosamond mentions her father's altered stance to him. Fearing that Mr. Vincy might dissolve the engagement against their wishes, the chapter concludes with the couple deciding to fast-track their wedding date.
Chapter 37
This chapter unfolds with an analysis of the ongoing political environment at both local and national levels: the demise of George the Fourth has left the government transforming. The local political newspapers are similarly experiencing a shift. One such paper, The Pioneer, has recently put forth an article claiming it's an opportune time for competent men to play more significant roles in politics. The chapter kicks off with two peripheral characters, Mr. Hawley and Mr. Hackbutt, theorizing that the article points towards Mr. Brooke, fueled by rumors of his recent acquisition of the paper. As it transpires, the rumors are accurate.
Ladislaw continues his stay with Mr. Brooke and it is revealed that Brooke has proposed a job at the paper to Ladislaw. Ladislaw is giving the offer serious thought. Concurrently, Mr. Casaubon is expressing hostility towards Ladislaw's presence in the vicinity, something everyone but Mr. Brooke appears to be cognizant of. Ladislaw has been circumventing Casaubon, yet he also yearns to meet Dorothea. One day, he starts sketching near Casaubon’s residence, in hopes of catching a glimpse of Dorothea on her daily stroll. However, rain forces him to take refuge in the house, which, fortunately, Casaubon has vacated for the day.
Dorothea is thrilled at the prospect of conversing with Ladislaw since Casaubon appears uninterested in her opinions. They discuss various topics, mostly revolving around the shared family history of Casaubon and Ladislaw. Ladislaw brings up the job offer and Dorothea advises him to seek Casaubon's viewpoint.
Later, an irked Casaubon returns home and upon learning of Ladislaw’s visit, voices his displeasure about Mr. Brooke offering Ladislaw a job. He pens a letter to Ladislaw the following day, advising him to decline the job offer and relocate.
Having gleaned more about their family history, Dorothea ponders over the ethical correctness of Ladislaw’s reliance on Casaubon. She is a woman deeply ingrained in the conventions of her era, specifically primogeniture. Nevertheless, the Casaubon/Ladislaw situation lacks the clarity she desires, as both men are descendants of two sisters, neither of whom should have had sole claim to the family wealth. The narrative suggests that Ladislaw’s father was older than Casaubon, hence, he should have been the rightful heir as the firstborn male in the lineage. Dorothea, aware of Casaubon’s will favoring her, wishes to restore some justice for Ladislaw. One night, she voices her desire to Casaubon; she wants him to assign a living allowance to Ladislaw, owing to his moral and potential legal rights. Im a 24F and I’ve had 2 migraines in my life. Both were with aura and totally over within 24 hours. The pain was mild but the aura symptoms were freaky.
7 days ago I experienced an aura attack so bad I didn’t even realize what it was. I started to lose consciousness, had floaters, nausea, numbness and tingling followed by a moderate headache in the back of my head and neck. Since then this has happened everyday on and off but the headache continues to worsen. It’s located all in my right side of my forehead/face and right side of my neck. It got so bad 3 days ago I went to the ER, but they ruled out tumoanything bad with a CT scan and sent me home. I’ve been taking so much advil but it only helps for about an hour. Right now I have the same headache, neck pain, lock jaw, brain fog, nausea, tingling, severe pressure in my eyes and I feel so sick and have so much anxiety. My mom had migraines with aura as well but they only lasted 30 minutes.
There r 3 things I can think of that might be triggering this or making it worse 1. It was around my cycle (but it’s over now), 2. I am currently going off a medication that causes brain zaps 3. I have a spot on the right side of my neck that is flaring up and is swollen and tight from working out. I got acupuncture the other day but it didn’t help. Im so terrified this will never go away and I don’t understand why it keeps happening everyday. This has never happened to me. Is this normal?? It’s making me have panic attacks, pls help!:(

I was just sitting here, reading posts on this amazing sub, and thinking how glad I am to be DONE with alcohol. The reality of it just doesn't match the promise. The promise, for example, of travel. I'll have a bloody mary at the airport to celebrate being on my trip! Then I'll try to have at least two drinks on the flight because *FREE* then I'll get to the hotel and of course dash to the bar for a couple more. Dinner--yay! Time for the really good wine because I'm a really-good-wine drinker. Grab a to-go wine from the bar for the room while I'm laying in bed watching t.v. So much fun! What a great day!
Reality: Have a drink first thing at the airport, hoping no one I know sees me (it's a small town). Anxiously await drink service starting on the plane because I have to get my fair share! I paid for this upgrade and I am going to make it pay! Drink fast, keep an eye on the flight attendant so they know you are needing more. Always needing more. Get to the hotel after trying to navigate the airport you've never been to, with about 4 drinks under your belt already (woohoo for being high functioning!). Rush to the bar, hope you don't run into any work colleagues. Toss one down quickly while ordering another to take back to the room because you are so ashamed of drinking in the middle of the day. Drink in the room, get ready for dinner with the gang. Brush teeth like mad so no one knows you've been drinking. Watch the waiter so he knows your wine glass is getting empty. Worry you won't get your fair share of the bottle of wine for the table. Watch to see if anyone else is having more wine, because you want more wine. Sneak to the bar after to grab your "room drink." Wake up all night, sweaty, anxiety-ridden, feeling like shit, smelling the half-empty wine glass sitting by your bed. Look at your puffy face in the mirror in the morning and wonder when in the hell it is ever going to stop.
Oh, I'm glad to be done. To be free. To have space in my mind for living, and not being a slave. It is the most life-changing, wonderful thing I've ever done for myself.

What are some other ones? I only played immortal for a few weeks but put in thousands of hours of the others. If this is what people are asking for, and we're in previous Diablo games, what is going on??

Well, maybe its because for most full time workers/students it makes no sense to devote 100s of hours learning and doing try and error with those blue collar tasks because you probably dont have the time and if you do you have probably better things to do with your life (for example gaining more skills related with your job).
We currently have a very specialized economy where you do a very specific task and forget about everything else, but if AI disrupts the white collar workforce (aka making those jobs obsolete) I swear to god everyone and his mother will learn how to do those blue collar tasks because of 1) their own mental health (same way prisoners beg to do manual things because being alone with your thoughts 24/7 is unbearable) and 2) they would like to save money because they dont have a job, even if a UBI is implemented you want to save as much as you can because it wont be a lot of money anyways.
Please notice I am talking about 100s of hours because most trades require little or no formal education at all. Anyone with a normal intelligence can learn how to do basic home stuff in 100s of hours or even less. You dont want to be a pro, you want to just know enough.
At the same time, if AI disrupts the white collar workforce forget about building and maintaining those nice city offices, forget about maintaining the fancy cars, forget the hairstyles to impress coworkers, forget the fancy restaurants and so on. No demand for any of this, labor demand outside households would be almost zero!
You can delude yourself as much as you want but if white collar jobs get obsolete by AI, your blue collar job will get obsolete even before it can be automated.
Our economy is interconnected as hell, anything positive or negative AI brings will affect us all... so stop bragging about being irreplaceable. Its cringe at this point!

I saw that botox injections are usually done to the forehead, temples, and to the back of the head. I'm guessing it's because of the localisation of the pain, but I'm not sure. Has anybody with weird migraine spots tried botox?
For the record: my migraines transitioned from temple/eye area to the nose area 3-4 years ago. I don't have problems with my nose, I breathe fine and triptan relieves the pain.

So I'm currently a newcomer to Italian rapier (specifically Capo Ferro) and I've been eyeing Olympic foil to learn as well at the same time. Is this a bad idea?
I thought about this last year but I figured I was still too new to the basics of Italian rapier and I didn't wanna confuse techniques between the 2. Feel like I got my basics down now, so toying with the idea again. Thoughts?
